We had tried one of the 2002 Monte Rosso Cabs in a restaurant previously and thought it was excellent, so we had been planning on visiting the winery for a while. The winery itself is pretty amazing. The road up to it is quite steep, and the winery looks very modern with a large, open-plan tasting room that can cater to a big crowd. The best part is the large outdoor deck that has incredible views over Dry Creek. A great place for a good glass of wine!! Unfortunately we visited Sbragia on the weekend of a wine event so it was pretty busy but we will definitely go back again. |

Definitely the biggest of the Cabs - It is interesting to taste the three Cabs from different areas side by side. The Rancho del Oso has a lot of fruit and long finish typical of a Howell Mountain wine |

This was a surprisingly crisp Chardonnay with a big finish. Sue got butterscotch flavors. Shane enjoyed it. |
