Here they produce grass-fed beef, heirloom vegetables and fruits, virgin olive oils and of course wine. LMR recently opened up a restaurant and tasting room in St Helena so we decided to stop by to check it out. The Farmstead restaurant is a farm to table restaurant beside the tasting room; we did not get a chance to eat there but would like to go back to it. The venue looked nice and casual and you cannot beat the $2 corkage (for charity). The tasting room was average sized. The service was also average - nothing special. We tried the $20 tasting and thought it was a little expensive for what you get. The wines are nice but probably won't be rushing back for the tasting - we will check out the restaurant though |
