1155 Mee Lane at Hwy 29, St Helena, CA 94573 Phone: 707 963 9999 Hours: Open Daily 10am - 6pm Club/Discounts: 30% discount on first purchase, 20% thereafter Tasting Fees: $10 - Refunded with Purchase We were driving by Alpha Omega on the busy Hwy 29 area south of St Helena and decided to call in as this is one of the newer wineries to be built (built in 2006). Alpha Omega have their own vineyards and also source grapes from some excellent wine growing regions so we were interested to see what was going on and try their wines. The tasting room was going under some transformations when we arrived and was not fully open, but the plans looked good for the future, and it looks like this will be a large sized tasting room with a section for reserve wines and will cater to a large crowd. We found the service average; similar to the larger wineries along Hwy 29. |

| 2004 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($56) | Rating: C Aug 11th, 2007 |
| 75% Cab, 18% Merlot, 7% Cab Franc. Much bigger than the 2003 with better structure and tannins. This will get better over the next few years. Good wine and way better value than the 2003 Cab |
| 2004 Proprietary Red ($64) | Rating: C Aug 11th, 2007 |
| 50% Cab, 22% Cab Franc, 28% Merlot. Good blend. Nice structure and tannins. "Currant". Nice wine |
| 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($66) | Rating: B Aug 11th, 2007 |
| 75% Cab, 21% Merlot, 2% Cab Franc, 2% Petite Verdot. Good fruit, not much tannins. Smooth, Bordeaux style. Drink this wine soon - It will not last too many years. Definitely not worth $66 |
| 2005 Napa Valley Chardonnay ($38) | Rating: B Aug 11th, 2007 |
| Light color, little butter. Caramel on the nose. Nice sunny day wine (but not for $38!!) |
| 2006 Napa Valley Rose ($26) | Rating: A-B Aug 11th, 2007 |
| Very difficult to drink after the Cabs. "Too sweet for my palate". No thanks |
