21439 Bear Creek Rd., Los Gatos, CA 95033 Phone: 408 354 4214 Hours: 11am to 4pm Club/Discounts: 20% Discount on 12 Bottles Tasting Fees: No Charge David Bruce is definitely famous for their Pinot's so I was looking forward to checking out the winery. Definitely a little tricky to get to and the road is very windy, but it is a nice winery to visit in the Santa Cruz mountains. The service is very good and the staff are friendly. There is no tasting charge and they will pour what is open. I was hoping to try their Estate Pinot's but unfortunately they were not pouring any. There is not much else around the winery so you would be making the drive just to visit David Bruce. Bring a designated driver!! |

Best Value Wine - June, 2005
Better than the Central coast or santa cruz mountain - worth getting more |
| 2002 Brosseau Chalone Pinot Noir ($45) | Rating: B-C Apr 18th, 2008 |
| Interesting that they were pouring a 2002 Pinot Noir. From talking to the server it sounded like they are trying to clear out the stock. Actually a nice Pinot but tough to pay $45 for it. Cherry flavor. 18 months Hungarian Oak |

| 2003 Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay ($35) | Rating: A-B Apr 18th, 2008 |
| No thanks. Fruit overload. I think I'll stick to the Pinot. $35 is crazy |
