Delicious example of what Amarone can become with some time in the bottle. The tannins have given way to luscious concentrated jammy fruit flavors. However, the tannins and alcohol level (15%) are apparent and add to the overall structure of the wine, but are noticeable on the finish. | | 2005 Palazzo della Torre Veronese ($19) | Rating: B
