This winery does not produce outstanding wines but the service is amongst the best I've seen, and therefore definitely worth a visit. Recommended by the staff at Zahtila and they were right. Must visit. They have a small wine bar and are extremely personable - while we were there they asked us if we wanted to do some barrel tastings. A really nice touch. 10 out of 10 on service!! The 2003 Cab barrel tasting shows potential, worth a visit next year.

2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($48)Rating: B-C

Nice everyday Cab with a good finish and plenty of flavour. It was barrel aged for 22 months in 50% French and 50% American Oak. I don't think it is worth the money

From Calistoga, smooth and balanced Zin. Medium finish - a good midweek drinker or with a cheese course at the weekend.
2002 Napa Valley Dijon Clone Pinot Noir ($35)Rating: B

A nice Pinot, aged for 15 months in French Oak. I've had better for cheaper though - not good value.

If you like a pepper overload then this wine is for you. I don't mind some pepper but this was too much. Not for me!
