Tasted as part of the winter wineroad event. Normally a quiet winery with friendly personal service was opened up for the event and were pouring through their entire selection of Zinfandels and recently added Syrah. |

| 2005 William Talty Vineyard Zinfandel ($37) | Rating: B-C Jan 17th, 2010 |
| Quite different form the 06 and preferred the smoother and longer taste. |
| 2006 William Talty Vineyard Zinfandel ($37) | Rating: B-C Jan 17th, 2010 |
| Solid body of dark cherries, from the start through to a nice long finish. |
| 2007 Filice Connolly Vineyard Zinfandel ($37) | Rating: B-C Jan 17th, 2010 |
| Nicely balanced raspberry flavours with a toasty finish. Very drinkable. |
| 2006 Filice Connolly Vineyard Zinfandel ($37) | Rating: B Jan 17th, 2010 |
| Tasted alongside the 07 and interesting to see how the wine changes with time. More tannins and less fruit than the younger wine and more white pepper than black pepper on the finish. 07 is drinking better and may remain that way. |
| 2007 Dwight Family Vineyard Zinfandel ($20) | Rating: B Jan 17th, 2010 |
| Very cherry flavours, with medium body and mild white pepper to finish. If you like cherries, this one could be a winner for you. |
| 2007 MacLaren Unit Vineyard Syrah ($25) | Rating: B Jan 17th, 2010 |
| Made by a 'new' winemaker at the winery - one of the winery staff making their own wine under supervision from the regular winemaker - note this is sold under a different label than the winery.
The wine has chocolate and berry flavours and very sweet on the palate. Not sure how age worthy it will be, may be better in a blend. |
