Club/Discounts: None Tasting Fees: None The tasting room was the original Heitz winery, but they outgrew the building many years ago and converted it to a very pleasant and open tasting room.
Tastings are offered on a large farmhouse style table with friendly staff and tasting notes laid out on the table.
The wines offered were all cabernet, and two ports to finish. We were particularly impressed with the free tasting that included their top end Martha's Vineyard Cabernet. |

Very nice wine. Really smooth with nice fruit. Probably would not hold onto the wine too much longer but very impressed with it today |

| Smells more like a port than a Cabernet. Lots of chewiness and viscosity - smooth on the palate with a long finish. Will age well for many years. Not tasting like a "C", but should get there in time. Shame that the price includes $100 to pay for a holiday home in Martha's Vineyard - woul dbe great for under $50. |
